FAQ’s
Hot yoga, how hot does the room get?
Our studio is a Far Infrared Hot Studio, which means that it heats up the bodies in the room and not the air. It can get up to 38 degrees, but the temperature feels absolutely amazing! It really feels like you are doing yoga on the Beach, that is why our company is called Beach Yoga. Our state of the art system allows you to detoxify 7 times more than regular hot yoga studios that just blow hot air at you using conventional heaters. This means that you are sweating out toxins and not just water. The infrared heats your body from the inside out, so it pulls out the toxins at a cellular level. Please feel free to check out the other amazing benefits of our state of the art studio here: http://beachyogaandwellness.com/services/ We are also offering a chance to WIN a 6 month membership at our studio, check it out here:http://www.facebook.com/BeachYogaAndWellness
Is this for beginners?
We offer infared hot yoga classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. Please check out our schedule at: http://beachyogaandwellness.com/schedule/ I would recommend trying the Hot Yang Yin Flow Yoga – Level 1/2, Hot Happy Hips & Flow Yoga – Level 1/2, Hot Yoga Beginners & Beyond – Level 1/2. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
What specialty programs doesn’t the trials or class pass not cover?
Specialty programs means Workshops (such as the Law of Attraction / Vision Board Workshop) and the Beach Bikini Body Bootcamp. Your groupon membership allows you to take any hot yoga, pilates & fusion class on our schedule. Here’s a link to the schedule: http://beachyogaandwellness.com/schedule/ You can also check out our youtube video on that page to learn how to pre-register for classes online.
What do I need to bring to class, and how can I make my experience enjoyable?
Please bring with you your yoga mat, a bottle of water and a towel. Be sure to dress comfortably (yoga pants, capris or shorts and a yoga top or tank top is good) Classes are done bare feet.. Please be sure to keep yourself hydrated before and after class. For the first class, we recommend that you arrive 15-20 minutes early, because you will need to meet your instructor, sign some forms & get settled in before class starts. If you are hungry before class, eat something nice and light an hour prior to class (like an apple or a small salad). Heavier meals should be eaten a few hours before class.
Please pre-register online for your classes as this guarantees your spot in class. Here is our online tutorial on how to pre-register: http://www.youtube.com/user/BeachYogaAndWellness?feature=watch#p/a/u/0/GiQKjB8bums and our website schedule is found at http://beachyogaandwellness.com/schedule/
